Congratulations on the birth of your child. Dr. Saddik performs circumcision procedure under local anesthetic
at his room. However, it can be done under general anesthetic one of the local Private Hospitals, either
John Fawkner Hospital or Vaucluse Hospital if you wish so at extra cost paid to the hospital directly.
If you like your son to be circumcised you will need to make an appointment to see
Dr Saddik to discuss the procedure as an initial consultation. On your first consultation, please arrive 15
minutes earlier to fill out paper work. Within a week or two an appointment would be made for actual
procedure day. Parents must complete the consent/instruction form.
Your son should be seen within three days after the procedure for review, unless a different date is
determined by Dr. Saddik.
If you feel that the procedure would take place later, you must make a further appointment to go through the
procedure with Dr Saddik. You should not have a long gap between initial consultation and operation day to
avoid any confusions.
